eighteen

18 years have passed.
I became an adult and a citizen.
I'm allowed to vote, to go to Casinos, or go to Jail (not my favourite)
A lot happened in 18 years.
I've been through so much in my life, that a simple post would suffice.
I've lived a happy life, most of it. I was always a happy child and my family always cared for me.
(The one who was there for me - yes Dad not talking about you)

They always shielded me from the hatred of the world and always wanted to keep my innocence, but like the teenager I was becoming, that innocence was fading as well.
In my teenage years, I learned everything I could learn about that chapter of my life, that I knew was going to be intense,
full of happyness,
sadness,
pain,
joy,
friends,
best friends,
non friends
and girl who hated me for no reason.
But I'm away from that now, and I'm a grown up person, so I need to start taking things serious.
Not caring about shallow things, and keep my head in the future.

So, here I leave my words of wisdom:

Do not ever complain about your life even if it sucks, remember there are girls and boy whom teenage years were taken away from them.

For our whole life, adults made us do stuff we don't wanted to do, remember you have a voice, you can choose and you are free to do it.
Because after Teenage, the years pass way to quickly.

Much Love,
- Rita <3
